It serves the Defence College of Health Sciences community. DCHS library recognizes that university libraries are partners in the educational vision and mission of National Defence University-Kenya. Therefore, the library seeks to equip and support information seeking university community through access and use information resources effectively for studying, teaching, research and continuous professional development. Additionally, the college library (in conjunction the main library) supports continuous improvement of institutional effectiveness, accreditation and such other accountability requirements.<\/p>\n

DCHS endeavors to be a premier institution in medical training and research. For successful achievement of this vision the library will continue to align its goals with those of the College as a whole. Similarly, the library continues to distinguish itself as a leader in transforming, preserving, and making accessible enviable information resources. The print books are available on the shelves classified in the library of congress classification scheme and can be accessed from the library catalogue.
